4-68 Series Belt Driven Centrifugal Fan

I:Purpose

Type 4-68 centrifugal fan (hereinafter referred to as fan) can be used as general ventilation, and its operating conditions are as follows:

1. Application site: as indoor ventilation of general factories and large buildings, it can be used as input gas or output gas.

2.Iype of transport gas; air and other non-spontaneous combustion, harmless to the human body, non-corrosive to steel materials.

3. Impurities in the gas: sticky substances are not allowed in the gas, and the dust and hard particles contained are more than 150mg/m3.

4. Gas temperature:  shall not exceed 80 ℃ .

Ⅱ: Type

1. The fan is made into single suction, with 12 model Numbers, including No.2.8, 3.15,3.55,4,4.5, 5,6.3,8, 10,12.5, 16,20,etc.

2. Each fan can be made of right rotation or left rotation of two types, from one end of the motor face, impeller clockwise rotation, known as the right rotating fan, to the right, counterclockwise rotation, known as the left rotating fan, to the left.

3.The outlet position of the fan is expressed by the outlet Angle of the machine.The left and right can make 0,45,90,135,180 and 225 angles.

4. Fan drive mode: A,B,C,D four, No.2.8~5 adopt type A, drive directly with the motor, fan impeller, housing fixed directly on the motor shaft and flange;No.6.3~12.5 adopts cantilever supporting device, which can be divided into two driving modes: type C (belt drive belt pulley outside the bearing) and type D (coupling drive).No.16 and 20 are B-type cantilever supporting devices, with belt drive and belt pulley in the middle of the  bearing

IⅢ: The structural characteristics of the main components

Model 4-68 fan No.2.8 ~5 is mainly composed of impeller, housing, air inlet and other parts of the distribution of direct connection motor, No.6.3~20 in addition to the above parts and the transmission part.

1.Impeller. 12 tilting wing blades are welded between the cone arc wheel cover and the flat disc.All made of steel plate, and through static and dynamic balance correction, good air performance, high efficiency, smooth operation.

2.Housing:  the housing is a cochlear shape welded by ordinary steel plate. The housing is in two different forms.No.16,20 the housing is divided into two halves along the middle dividing plane, and the upper half is divided into two halves along the vertical center line, connected by bolts.

3.Air inlet as an integral structure of convergent streamline, it is fixed on the inlet side of the fan with bolts

4.Transmission group: composed of spindle, bearing box, rolling bearing, belt pulley or coupling, etc. The main shaft is made of high quality steel.Four fans of machine size, overall structure of bearing box, equipped with thermometer and oil mark on the bearing. Two fans of machine number No.16 to 20 use two parallel bearing blocks, equipped with thermometer on the bearing, lubricated by bearing grease.

IV:Installation, adjustment and test run of the fan

1.  Before installation: all parts of the fan shall be comprehensively inspected to see whether the parts are complete, whether the impeller and the housing are in the same direction of rotation, whether the parts are closely connected, whether the impeller, spindle, bearing and other main parts are damaged, and whether the transmission group is flexible, etc. If problems are found, they shall be repaired and adjusted immediately.   2.During installation: pay attention to the inspection of the shell, the shell should not fall into or left tools or sundries, in order to prevent rust, reduce the dificulty of disassembly, should be coated with some grease or machine oil.When connecting the fan with the foundation, the air  pipes in and out should be adjusted so that they match naturally. The connection should not be forced, and the weight of the pipes should not be added to each part of the fan, and the horizontal position of the fan should be ensured.

3.Installation requirements:

1) install according to the position and size shown in the drawing. In order to ensure high efficiency, the dimensions of shaft and radial clearance of tuyere and impeller should be guaranteed in particular

2) when instaling type No. 6.3-12.5d fans, the horizontal position of fan spindle and coaxiality of motor shaft shall be ensured, and the installation of coupling shall meet the technical requirements of elastic coupling installation.

3) after installation: try to dial the transmission group to check whether there is too tight or collision phenomenon, and adjust the improper parts if found.

V:Ordering instructions

The fan number, air volume, pressure, outlet angle, rotation direction, motor model, power, rotation speed, etc. Must be indicated when ordering.
